As someone who lived in CT and NY. 8 hour waits in CT and 10 hour waits in NY are nothing compared to the less then 1 hour wait here. Don’t listen to the people complaining. They the king of people who expect everyone to drop everything for them. They still have to follow Covid protocol so you might be stuck outside for 20 minutes or so. You will be in and out before you know it. Great staff and super fast. Can’t complain.

I want to give a very big Thank You to Paulina for her outstanding patience and kindness with helping me sort out my MV issue. A big Thank you to Annette for her help and clarity with MV issue. They were there for me every step of the way and even reached out to me via phone. These ladies were remarkable and thank you again for everything.

Always have had good experiences here. Friendly staff. A wait time is expected out of any DMV, it's all walk ins so you may wait a while, you may not, depends how busy it is. I've never had to wait longer than a half hr or so. What I've always been told is don't plan other things the day you need to go to the DMV...expect to need to wait and bring your phone or a book or something. The staff is doing their best and they don't need to be treated badly by people who expected to not have to wait at all. Just be kind!

New address paper work and 35 dollars
Temp plates can say ANYTHING
If you're getting the new license that you can use for air travel, you need birth certificate, ss card, and 2 letters with your current address.
I don't know. I thought it had only gone up 900%, max.
Don't understand the question
When I went to the Augusta branch of the DMV, they did accept walkin's and your license will be mailed to you.
bring in your dd214 that shows what medals you have been awarded
No you cant it takes 7 to 10 days to get it in the mail
You should have received a Title from the previous owner and filled out applicable fields on it, and additionally completed a Bill of Sale with the previous owner. You may then (with proof of insurance) register the vehicle at your local municipal building (not the BMV) where you will need to pay the excise tax. Without paying the excise tax at a municipal building, the BMV can not help you. Without a Title (and Bill of Sale) from the previous owner, you're going to have a lot of trouble proving ownership of the vehicle. It is actually illegal in Maine to privately sell a car without the Title, unless the car is from before 1995.
Open by appointment
I would call them , and see what they want you to do. They are very nice there and willing to help.
Yes don't just go they won't let you in. Most things you can do on line. I had Chang's to my license so I had to go in. I saw 4 people turned away while I was there.
Take new address and piece of mail with new address to department and they should be able to change it for you
That question is actually taken care of at the hospital street location. They process all if the titles there. I am not sure of the out of state stuff though
When you say trace, what to do mean? A Bank or a Credit Union can give you some information on a vin #, but it depends on what you are looking for.
Why are you complaining about Massachusetts' DMV and other MA services on Maine's BMV website?
I believe you can, but I am not 100% sure. Why not call or go on the website.
Your self you can just get a replacement for 5 dollars
State office's closed due to weather.
Can you order your I'd over the computer if you just want your old expired one
