A few galleries were closed off for installation or repairs. Mostly paintings/2d artwork on display. Good group of contemporary to modern works, with a mixture of well known artists and some lesser. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great spot to stop in if in the area and an art junkie. Took me about 2 hours casually + gift shop.

Beautiful exhibits and art from so many different eras and artists, I loved it here! People under 21 are free, but prices for other museum-goers are steep.

Pleasantly surprised by this local art museum. The pieces featured included works by Picasso, Matisse, Renoir, and Monet. A gorgeous interior welcomes you on the journey throughout this lovely place. Price of admission is well worth the experience.

What is the new, major, first floor exhibit?
No. She has passed away from the AIDs.
Free every Friday after 4pm. Starting 11 April, anyone 21 and under can sign up for the Susie Konkel pass for free admission anytime. And Friday the 23rd is the next PMA360 event coinciding with free Fridays. It's a focus on poetry.
Yes, the PMA is a member of NARM
Yes, It says it's open Saturday 10am-6pm. Fun fact: All day every Friday, the Museum is FREE!!!!! 🆓
The museum doesnt have it's own parking i believe, however there is a public parking lot right down the street from it. Its pay to park, but if you wait until after 4pm to go the the museum entry is free!

Yes, street parking, and several parking structures a few blocks away adjacent to the hotels and arena.
You should call. I'm not sure of the hours. The front desk staff are very helpful and super nice.
Check your local library for passes! Also check Groupon for rediced cost passes if its your first time and you're not sure if it will ve worth it to you. (It's quite a good museum. Totally worth it.)
Debbie, you'd do well calling the museum during regular hours and requesting a guide. Tell them that in addition, the guide should be enthusiastic and relate well with your group.
If the Museum allowed dogs, at least once a month, one of the pieces of art would get broken or ruined.
You posted on the maps help section. I suggest calling the museum or researching on their website.
I. M. Pei was the architect that designed the Portland Museum of Art. He also designed the Louvre in Paris and the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC.
