Great venue! I had a blast checking this place out after hearing about it all throughout the depths of COVID. It’s a great stage to see a show and the crowd was fun and easy to maneuver at this event.

Went to catch Kaleo in concert. The seats were very mall and each row was cramped. It's best for you to sit as far up as possible upstairs to get the best view. Otherwise you should get in the standing room downstairs if you really wanna feel the vibe from the bands. Nice little venue and the bathrooms were conveniently close by with plenty of bars on each floor.

Just recently visited this venue for a show a few days ago and the venue provided a great experience for the concert! All of the staff members I talked to were knowledgeable and kind, especially Pam. The venue itself was beautiful and had amazing architecture. The only negative thing I have to state, hence the four stars, is the bathroom could use better sanitizing/cleaning. All of the stalls in the men’s room either did not having working latches on the doors, or just completely disgusting on the inside. Besides the bathroom needing to be cleaned, everything else was clean and the venue was nice. Thanks again Pam for your kindness!

Caught the Lost Dog Street Band and Matt Heckler at The State Theater. AMAZING show and this was the best possible place to catch it. There isn't a bad seat in the venue, IMO. We started off down front but ended up in the balcony simply because I just had surgery and wanted some space from other humans and jostling. Was still an amazing place to watch the show. Next time we will be right up front in the pit. Really looking forward to catching another band at this great historical, intimate venue!

Yes, there's one just around the corner at the hotel nearby.
Yes there is. Very good staff.
It's a 15 minute walk
Look on their website, all the information you need is there, they are only usually there when there is a show going on. Because of online sales it doesn't make much sense to keep someone there to just sell tickets
The shows I have been to at the state theater have ended around 11/1130
Might be cheaper thru Ticketmaster.
No, they do not, and they don't accept rapid tests you bring yourself. You need to be vaccinated or have a test professionally administered.
Doors usually open an hour before the show.
This venue is all ages unless the show specifically says 21 and up!
Not sure about that
I think they would specify in the advertisement if they do but the events I have attended haven't that requirement. They do give you a wrist band if you are 21+
The lower level has a standing section up front near the stage. The back has seating, under the balcony. Additional seating up in the balcony. Not sure if Kip Moore would be an exception, but the general seating arrangement is standing room only near the stage.
Leave them a message they will return your call. Or call when the box office is open
Theres a coat check you can check those items in. I carried my jacket in with me when i went in.
Yes :)
Typically, yes. It can vary per show based on the entertainer(s). In the least it will be searched but may possibly not be allowed at all. You should call the State and inquire the policy for tgis show.
You'd have to check with the ticket sales.
I have seen several people in wheelchairs at shows here. I don't know HOW accessible the seats or rows are but I know they will gladly assist and accommodate you to the best of their abilities.
Something is wrong with their webpage. It has been taken down temporarily.

According to the State's website, it's an all ages show. If you're off drinking age, you will need to present an id at the door and get braceleted.
The State Theatre is an intimate setting for concerts. With seating for about 1700 of your closest friends, many acts across all genres come to the State. It's a great place to see your favorite shows.
why wait..buy them earlier if you think it will sell out
MI Sen usually doesn't have too long of a wait, and the food is amazing! Otherwise, it might be smart to call ahead for reservations, if it is a busy show, the resteraunts may have 30-45 minute wait at dinner time.
The ticket office is at Port City Music Hall.
Tour managers set the restrictions so every show is different. Typically almost all shows are all ages at State Theater unless the show states 18+
No professional cameras ever. If it has a detachable lens it is not allowed. Point and shoot cameras and cell phone photography is typically ok. If an artist requests no photographs or videos signs will be posted or you will be asked by security to put it away. Even when photography is allowed, please remember to turn your flash off.
Only if the artist opens up any reserved seats. Sold out means sold out but typically each artist that performs has seats set aside for any guests they have. If they don't have guests it they don't need the seats, sometimes they will release them to sell. They advertise this when it happens so if the show still shows sold out, it's still sold out and no tickets are available
Most shows two and up require a ticket. Call them to make sure about the specific show
