Just had my brows done with Harley, I was dealing with a little lopsidedness in my brows and told her I was realistic that they may not be 100% even. But after careful work, she made my brows look the best they have in a long long time! I am so happy to find a friendly local esthetician.

I had Harley and she was awesome ! She did a great job on my eyebrows. I love them. I got a wax and a tint and she did the perfect color like I mean perfect.... there not too dark where I was shocked when I looked in the mirror... they gave me just enough definition And shape. So happy ! Thanks girl !

I got my eyebrows waxed and my eyelashes lifted and tinted and Kailey made them look amazing. Previous places I had my eyebrows waxed have never been the best of experiences. From eyebrows being really swollen and a couple times of a having a layer of skin being pulled off which results in scabs forming. I'm extremely happy I gave Brow Betty a try and Kailey provided such excellent service. I will definitely return for future services.

So far I've gone twice and so far both times were good. I leave feeling good and clean ;-) Plus the service is customer focused and polite. I don't always feel welcomed in Happy Valley but these ladies have a way of making you feel like you belong. They are worth the money and the time.

The industry standard is 15-20% but the amount you choose to leave is up to your discretion!
No. Please do not shave between waxing appointments! Shaving can disrupt the hair growth cycle and irritate follicles which can cause ingrown hair.
Try to refrain from exercising, swimming or tight clothing that may irritate the area within the first 24 hours. Do not get any direct sunlight on the freshly waxed area within the first 24 hours. Wait 24-48 hours and then gently exfoliate the area with your exfoliating gloves or loofah. Follow up with an ingrown hair product. Doing this will help restore your skin’s suppleness and weakens hair follicles, inhibiting future growth. This will help banish bumps and ingrown hairs. Continue to exfoliate 1-2 times a week so pores don’t get clogged, creating bumps and ingrown hairs. If redness or swelling occurs, you can apply a 1% hydrocortisone creme to the area up to 3 times a day. If large or deep bumps occur, applying a warm compress can help bring the hair up to the surface quicker.
Internal medications such as antibiotics or topical medications (including Accutane, Differin, Retin A, Glycolic Acid, Tazorac, Avage, Strivectin, Renova, ProActive, Benzoyl peroxide) may make skin more sensitive to waxing and lift the skin. Please check with your Doctor if you are unsure whether you should be waxed while on or using medication.
A Full Betty is our fun term for a Brazilian wax. A Brazilian wax is the removal of ALL hair front to back. A Hi-Hollywood is similar to Full Betty except we leave a tiny strip of hair in the front.
We suggest 3-4 weeks for brow and facial waxing and every 4-6 weeks for body waxing. It will become easier over time as the hair follicle will have less grip and you may experience less hair growth over time.
It is possible. Start an exfoliation routine 2 days after waxing (exfoliating gloves are available at Brow Betty) to help prevent ingrown hairs and continue to exfoliate 1-2 times a week after. Please be gentle. Please see our “after you wax” tips for more suggestions on what to expect and how to avoid ingrown hairs.
The hair should be at least 1/4 - 1/2 inch for best results. If your hair is too long we recommend shaving and then making your appointment for 2-3 weeks later. The hair grows in stages so it may take up to three waxing treatments to achieve a complete smooth look. Please refrain from shaving in between appointments as this will interrupt the process.
Most women find it tolerable, but yes there may be some discomfort involved.
Yes. We just suggest avoiding appointments before or during your cycle as we tend to be more sensitive at this time.
There are a couple things you can do to prepare for your wax: - Hair needs to be at least ¼ to ½ inch long….10-14 day stubble. - Caffeine and alcohol can create acidity in the body, making skin more sensitive so try to abstain prior to service. - Taking an Advil or Motrin ½ hour before the service can sometimes help with pain and inflammation. - A gentle body scrub prior to service will help eliminate dead cells around skin pores and hair follicles, making your waxing service easier. - Don’t use topical numbing gels, they can interfere to get the best waxing results. - Avoid spray tanning, sunbathing and tanning beds within 24 hours of waxing, before or after. - CHILL!!!.... mental preparation is the most important…..if you come in relaxed and ready to go you will have a much more pleasant experience!
If you are unable to keep your appointment we would appreciate a phone call within 24 hours if possible so another guest may get in. If your appointment is 45 minutes or longer we may require a credit card number to hold your appointment. You will not be charged unless you fail to cancel within 24 hours.
You must be 18 or over for all services. If you are under 18 you may have a guardian or parent with you to sign the waiver for any waxing or threading. You must be 18 and over for all tinting and lifting services.
We do accept walk-ins but highly recommend making an appointment in advance to avoid long wait times. Please be 5-10 minutes early as we have short appointment times and you may risk losing your appointment if you are late. If you are unable to keep your appointment we would appreciate a phone call with in 24 hours if at all possible.
