If you can, by all costs avoid staying at the CLC Riverhouse for any period of time. That is their long-term recovery treatment facility. While there are a few very professional people working in there, the rest of them are liars and backstabbers. They think nothing of writing ANYTHING they want regardless of how erroneous onto your medical records - aides, nurses, they are all able to put down anything that passes through their dense brains on a whim. Obvious that very few of them are trained in documenting and recording facts. One of the physical therapist and the "social worker" were two of the worst - just absolutely miserable liars but they weren't the only ones. If you do end up in one of their residential care facilities, make sure you check EVERYTHING they "document" EVERY day.

Roseburg VA has greatly deteriorated, and now is horrible! Primary care is next to non-existent.

My wife will not go back to her primary care clinic. I don't know what happened but she said they are all mental cases and is afraid to even meet up with them in the store. WTH goes on there?

I would rather use the Chioce system than step foot into another VA facility ever again. I'm tired of being a damn number at the VA, get a new PC every six months and having to deal with intern's every summer. If your offered the Chioce system, TAKE IT
Service animals are allowed inside and other animals are allowed on leashes onto campus
I would talk to the travel people at the VA office in Roseburg because I'm pretty sure that you should get travel money. I have a friend that lives in Grants Pass and has to travel to Roseburg to VA office even though there is one here closer and they get there travel funds paid for
Yes, the gates are open.
If you get with DAV, they should be able to assist with filing a new claim.
He's always welcome at Roseburg!!! Thank him for his service <3

Contact the release of information office. They should be able to assist you.
Probably a lot more than you realize
No. Service animal only.

I would check with Eligibility Office first thing when checking in with OR VA hospital (Portland, Roseburg, or White City Medford area). Hope this helps.
Yes...I believe that we are always looking for volunteers. Just stop by the volunteer desk in building 1 and they should be able to direct you through the proper channels.
