Ballard Street Cafe was great for breakfast. Nice amount of choices for breakfast or lunch (our party was split on some wanting lunch and others wanting breakfast). They even had chocolate chips for the pancakes! The bacon was perfect and the pancakes were not too thick. I didn't order the hash browns but they looked really good too!

Just left the restaurant after waiting close to 1 hour and still did not receive my food! Tables that were seated after us got there food. The service was horrible. For a Saturday morning at breakfast time, this should never happen. Restaurant service has been horrible everywhere over the last 2 years but I thought this local favorite would be an exception, assuming low staff turnover. We were told the kitchen lost our ticket. It would have been nice if they checked on our order BEFORE we told them we were leaving. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

Pretty cool place. Fast service and a great place to meet with friends in the morning. I'm not really a breakfast person, but my 3 mates that were there with me were not overly impressed, so it seems to be about average. I had French toast and sausage links. The French toast was OK, but I've definitely had better. The sausage was a little over cooked and honestly a little cold. But the atmosphere is great and I still ate it all, so it wasn't too bad. I'd probably come back again and try something else to form a solid opinion, but this visit pretty much met expectations.

We really enjoyed our first visit. The diner was very busy at 9 am on Sunday, so we sat at the bar. We visited with friendly diners who gave great recommendations! Chicken fried steak and hashbrowns with gravy were a fave, and we loved them too.

No
They offer a turkey sandwich but not a Thanksgiving style bird with sides, usually.
Do not eat here if you are worried about calories
