We had sheet vinyl flooring installed October 2020, and now almost year and a half after installation, we're still very happy! I wanted to wait a while before posting a review if only because it's also good to know when the work holds up, and it absolutely does here. Micah was extremely helpful and very communicative from start to finish and I appreciated his assistance very much. My husband and I are pretty big DIYers and Micah worked with us to find things we could do ourselves (remove and plug the toilet, remove toekicks and trim, that kind of thing) that would help bring down the cost of installation a bit. When we needed to get our subfloor tested for asbestos due to the age of our house, he got me the information so I could run a sample to a company that took care of it quickly. The installers were great too, the scheduling team booked two days for our project but we only ended up needing one. They were efficient and thankfully very understanding the couple of times I accidentally got in their way to check on some pets we had tucked out of the way to keep them from getting underfoot. The installation job was excellent too, the edges were well done and easily covered by trim, and even in our kitchen, they installed the flooring under the cabinets as far as they were able, to the point of cutting around the IKEA cabinet feet to give us some extra leeway there. It's all covered now of course, but I still remember and appreciate that extra effort. And a year and a half later, it all is still looking great! No damage, no installation woes, it's solid. Thank you very much for the wonderful service all around!

With any large purchase (cars, carpet, remodel, etc.), there is an emotional component to it. Letting go of that much money feels like there needs to be an instant return on that. Shellee Jole from the Cascade Ave store made the purchase experience smooth enough that those emotional points were purely positive, and we're so happy. Choosing the carpet: On first entering, there was no pressure. After perusing a bit, we had some questions and Shellee had all the answers and more. We were then given more time with some good foundation to feel all the samples ("soft" was the #1 priority, since one of my kids is HSP). We took some samples home, and I went back to swap out a couple other samples. Easy. We chose the Mohawk Exquisite Style ("SmartStrand" Silk Reserve). It's the thinnest fiber (soft to touch) and pretty thick (soft under the feet). Scheduling the install: I scheduled the install on 2 days since I had to move the furniture around in between. The carpet arrived on time, and the install happened very efficiently. The 3-person team installed 1800 sq-ft, including stairs in 6hrs. They were prompt and professional. Results: After the first day, the kids an I were so happy that they wanted to "do something" in my empty bedroom on the carpet. So, we made a giant chess board by combing the carpet into a checker-board. Between the two install days, I was able to get new paint up since there was no furniture. Carpet+paint really makes for a "new house feel". After the second day of install, the kids had an even larger empty "play room". Naturally, that meant a 14 "room" blanket mansion needed to be constructed (it's still up 2 weeks later). All in all, we are incredibly happy with the final result. I looked at what was available at Lowes and Home Depot... Blegh. The choice for high-end carpet just isn't there. I am so happy I trusted Paulson's for this purchase. ~Very pleased customer
