Spoke with a young woman in regard to leasing an apartment that is not available to see until the beginning or mid October since it is still occupied (understandable). I asked to schedule a tour for a date around the time that the apartment will be available to see and was told I couldn’t do that because it MAYBE under application at that time. Told her I'd take my chances in where she declined. I work in leasing and never heard of this, disappointing, disheartening and just plain poor customer services from leasing. Didn’t even try finding another apartment to show. To say the least I’ve definitely had a taste of the lack of professionalism and will not move here.

I’ve been living here for a little over a month with my infant daughter and it has been such a great experience! My neighbors are so kind and the emergency maintenance staff was incredibly responsive and professional. I knocked a star off because the gate drives my crazy! My friends always have trouble getting in, but there has been notification that the gates are getting fixed. I absolutely feel safe in my apartment that is roomy and renovated nicely! **update to include I had to immediately move out when there became a big mold issue in my apartment. The apartments need an updated HVAC system and/or windows. I loved living there until the mold in my building became an issue.

I lived at Brinkley House for a year and I must say, I LOVED everything about my apartment. I had a renovated unit and it was great. They're very spacious. The ONLY thing I wasn't pleased with is the parking situation. If you came home late, you'll end up parking wayyyyy down the other end of the parking lot. I made a suggestion that they assign spaces but that didn't happen. Anyway, if I had to move into an apartment again, I would DEFINITELY move back to Brinkley House. By the way, the Maintenance team was great. They're always so polite and came when called.

I applied for a one bedroom apt of course the application said you had to make about 40 plus to apply. MY salary is greater and much higher than what they were asking on the application. After I had processed my application. I was told by both the manager and I believe the asst. manager that I had to make about over 89 plus to be qualified. There explanation was that I was a homeowner. While completing the application it didn't state any other factors that would hinder me from being approved. Upon getting denial from the property manager during the of month January 2020. I asked Karen the property manager will that be stated on my letter of denial. That I needed I make 3x TIMES their monthly wages plus three time my mortgage payment this would put me at closely about 89 plus. I asked the manager to put that in writing. Karen don’t state that on the letter. I received a notice of insufficient fund. There was no reference to support her denial. She (Karen) also stated that her Supervisor would make sure I receive this in writing with supporting documentation. I printed my application and it's not printed on my copy. Karen was telling the truth about getting the letter of denial. There was no documents or reference from her home office stating their decision. The term on the APPLICATION isn’t public information about being a homeowner and you had to make their request plus 3 times your mortgage. I'm disappointed that this type thief would take place. I feel like they took my application fee and discriminated against ME by not providing any supportive documentation.
