You can find some really good deals here, just have to be very selective. They kind of use the CVS philosophy, bring you in on certain items that are a really good deal, then hope you buy other items that are actually more expensive than most places. Example: Got a 18 pack AA batteries for less than 10 bucks, and 2 Serta pillows for less than 20 bucks, but the IBC root beer was almost 5 dollars for a 4 pack, when most grocery stores have that same item for 2.99 You can save a bundle if you shop carefully. Don't buy certain things just because you happen to be there and it's more convenient. They do a pretty good job of having accurate inventory online. I was looking for a certain candy item that is getting harder and harder to find. Their website showed they only had it at the Forest Lane store. Sure enough, I checked 3 stores closer to me in Denton County, and they didn't have them, but drove down to Forest and they had exactly as many as it said online. I was pretty impressed by that.

Typical big lots, havent been to one in ages. Got a good price on batteries, USB cables are a little pricey, but I'll be back

The counter folks often forget that they offer digital only receipts. And they neglected to tell me the mattress 30 day warranty requirement is the bed or base must still be in the plastic it arrives in.

Prices are good and they have items that other places are usually out of stock in. I am giving three stars because I bought a 10 inch ceramic pan, came in the packaging and everything, I come home to find out this pan was clearly used and returned. Dry food particles on the sides and inside has burn markings. For the price of $13, this was not worth it. Walmart has NEW 12 inch ceramic pans (cheaper, unused, and larger) for $11. This item should've cost way less for the condition it was in.
