Great place to experience lagoon happenings! Weekends can be busy., but plenty of available parking. A must do in Carlsbad. Try a swan if you don’t want to get wet.

So much fun in this large Lagoon. Must try it!

Being situated right off the freeway, how could this little water sport rental place be any good, right. That's what we thought, but decided to take the kids and introduce them to power boats and wave runners. What a surprise it turned out to be. Staff was friendly, polite and helpful. Parking was easy as place wasn't crowded. Had plenty of top notch gear to choose from. And we all had a blast. Great place to picnic and power boat for the afternoon. Highly recommend spending an afternoon here.

I didn't fish but did notice a man and his son fishing. Not sure about the fishes.
Yes, I do not swim well. I felt very comfortable and relaxed kayaking in the lagoon.
Yes I believe at some low cost. But if you go on the other side of the Laguna it is for free
Where in North county can we just got swimming? Not open ocean though
Jet skis are not allowed
Yes you can bring your own Kayak. However you are required to have a city permit to be on the Lagoon. We sell a day permit here, they are $9 for the day per vessel. Then if you want to launch from our facility we charge a $10 launch fee. If you would like to skip the launch fee you can launch from the public beach on Bayshore drive in the back of the Lagoon. Let me know if you have any questions
Unfortunately we no longer offer Jetski rentals. We do however have a bunch of other options for you to do down here. If you are looking for that adrenaline rush that the jet ski provided I would suggest giving one of our mini power boats a try. These 2 seater boats offer a larger area to operate in and give you the speed on the water you are looking for. They are an absolute blast and still easy to operate. We also have our bigger boats and then all the same vessels without a motor like the kayaks paddleboards and Aquacycles. If you have any questions give us a call at 760-434-3089 or you can email me back. We look forward to providing some on the water fun for you.
Yes, they have a public launch. I think it's $10 to use it

No, they have specific areas that they require you to stay in.
Correct we transitioned into some other fun stuff this Spring.
Unfortunatly, The City only allows the operation of Commercial (rental) jet skis on the lagoon. Our rentals go for $99 per hour!
Hey Lance the kayaks have 2 seats on there. But if you would like to squeeze another person on the kayak with you. That is at your discretion. It may just get a little tipsy.
We do not allow dogs on our beach. You can however take them out on a kayak or paddleboard with you. So you can take your dog on a leash from your car down to the equipment then take them out on the water with you.
Yes you can. We do not allow dogs on our beach but you can take them on a leash from your car to the kayak.
We are open your round every year. Only not on specific Holidays
You are not allowed to launch from the rental area but if you drive farther down a residential road there is an open fence and sidewalk you can carry it to the north west shore area
$100 per hour in weekends
16 is the minimum age to ride alone
I don't think so but you can take themn out at the oceanside harbor
I've been told that 14 yo to ride alone and if no swimming is ok as long as you wear vest (provided ther at no extra charge)
You have to drive down to the beach area to launch.
Also should note, you can only go around a small circle. Can't go out to the ocean. 😭
It is not but there are pets there due to the close vicinity of private owners.
