Can you fish offshore and what kind of fish are there and what kind of bait do they use

I didn't fish but did notice a man and his son fishing. Not sure about the fishes.

Don't think they have fish. Haven't seen anyone fishing.

When I was there, I saw an older guy in a floaty fishing for hours. He was just past the circle the jet skiers were making.

It's a lagoon I don't think they have fish in that part of the area

There's a sign posted that says No Fishing, I have seen a lot of people fishing along Carlsbad SB. As for bait I would check some of the local liquor stores that sell bait, they would have a much better idea of what would be useful.
