Spectacular Pass and ID office. The people working there are awesome. We were visiting from out of town and needed to replace a lost ID card. The staff were so helpful to us in getting the replacement even though we DID NOT have an appointment. I can’t speak well enough about them or the lady at station three who helped us. Kudos to them all.

Awesome Place - Love flying over...

This is probably the nicest military base in America apart from the Caribbean or Hawaii. You basically have your own secluded beach town and a luxury gym, hotel, and bowling alley. All free baby because of some taxpayers sweet cheddar.

*****Update***** 6/5/2021 Sorry I did not see your reply. I have no way of directly contacting you. So for all who needs to know. You have to have a BACKGROUND check for each base. The guards at the gates will give you directions to register. Background check will take a few days . There is always a wait so go early. If you have not already gone on base. He can go in now because they let Veterans go on base now. Just have to go and get a background check.
All guests must leave the base by 2200
There use to be, but as far as I know it's closed down.
It's huge! Very well taken care of with a private beach ⛱️ and beach cottages to rent. As well as, probably 5 different NGIS's and at least one Navy Lodge. Assuming you're military. 😬😊 Beautiful ❤️ place to stay❣️
I’ll find out for yah and check back with you
If you do not have a current government ID you must be escorted on base and stay with your escort at all times.
It is not just for the military.
Yes, assuming you have base access.
If you are a retired vet just show your ID and get a temp vehicle pass at the Pass and Decal office. If not, an active duty or retired sailor or Marine, or a DoD civil servant can sponsor you on.
No squash courts at Nas North Island.
Pass and decal is your best bet for answers
You, and your family members all need to stop at the Pass and Decal office near the Main Gate. There, your family members need to show government issued IDs, and all vehicles must have current registration and insurance documents. A temporary passe will be issued for the other car there
I'm 14 and do not have an ID, but as long as I'm accompanied by someone with one, I'm fine
Try the Navy Lodge (motel) on base
I was a DoD police officer 1998-2000. Transferred to USBP SD Sector, and retired from there in 2014. Also lived in National City. KY now.Used to check fishermen out on the Quay Road pier. They didn't have ships on that side of the base back then, but a ÇA. fishing license was required.
They aren't allowed on base except for a select few who go through extra training, but those are few and far between, so I wouldn't count on it, but they can meet you at the gate if you can get yourself there
You have to be on his list of visiting guests to get on base.
BUDS training.
Probably nasni admin, they should be able to take care of it
You'd have to call HSC-4 and ask to speak to the PAO. The number will be on their Command Website.
Yes with your retired ID
No such thing. Pay depends on your job title and your GS rank within that
Don't know they are updating some of the buildings
Air Ops
Navy lodge websight
They are allowed if escorted at all times by their military or DoD sponsors,
Yes.
Used to be Gate 2 when I was there, but the entry gates and most of the SW section of the base was re-constructed about 15-20 years ago. They never did let commercial vehicles enter the Main Gate.
