This is a smaller rv& tent park of HWY 50 just 20 miles east off Salidia. There are trees so if you have a giant 5th wheel or a class A just look around to be safe. Bathhouse is clean with a code, wifi is ok good enough for fb, email ect. Can stream short videos but not movies or steaming services. AT&T service works enough to get texts or a VM. A stream runs in the middle of the grounds we had site 19 which has the stream next to it and runs right thru the back of the site. The park is close to the road so that really is the only downside. Nice fire rings and picnic tables. Which are freshly painted wooden ones and they must be slowly replacing them with those nice round metal ones which are at half or more of the sites. Trees at every site except some of the tent sites on the east side which are still shaded somewhat. Liquor store that has some supplies and ice cream. Nice hookups at all rv sites. We really enjoyed ourselves if was peaceful.

Sugarbush Campground saved our vacation. We found this business due to car troubles, but in the future we will definitely make this campground part of the plan! The owner Dara is super helpful and kind, the sites are small but the amenities are clean, the babbling brook through the campground is relaxing, and there are lots cute decorations and shabby chic treats. Don’t miss this campground for either tent or RV camping adventures.

Love this campground. It is petite and just the right size. Location to Salida was about 15 minutes. Quite and relaxing. Friendly staff and friendly neighborhood. Look forward to camping there again in the near future. They have electricity, water, hot showers and a laundry room.
