Cool campground. Road to get there is dirt, long, and bumpy. At least that keeps crowds down. Be careful as ATVs zip on the road, but not the campground.

This is first come, first served National Forest Campground. It has two water spigots and two vault toilets. There are just a few spots (11), all of them are rustic, accommodating a maximum of 8 people each. Some are flat, most are not. Each site has a picnic table and a heavy duty bear box. The campground is simple, well maintained and has a great host. Can buy firewood from the host for $6/bundle (July 2022). The scenery is killer good around the campground and you can drive to many trails from here. Many roads are rough. A proper vehicle is required.

The last 3 miles of road is super rough for basic car, the sites are not level, dumpster locked (no trash service, ladies bathroom locked.
