Beautiful scenery. Camp ground fills up quickly on weekends. Natural hot spring made into a swimming pool. Worth the visit

Hosts John and Kris are exceptional people, true HOSTS in every sense on the word, and Gary too, at the actual hot springs pool! I love going to this place on my four days off each week, during the summer months

Beautiful view of mountains. Hotsprings is very unique location and pleasant. Great place for families!! Loved it!! Highly recommend. 10 mile dirt road back in off highway but other than that...fabulous!! Have come for over 40 years and will be back again and again!!

Excellent camp sites. Spread out with lots of trees and shade. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The host sells firewood for $6 a bundle. Sites have nice tables and fire rings.

Questions & Answers

Is it difficult to get a camp spot here without getting to the campground early?

I've been up here often. From early July to end of August it typically will be 80%-90% full wed - sun. I have never had a problem getting a site although some of them are better than others. If you're tempting or small trailer you obviously have many more options. For larger trailers or pull through sites you would want to stake claim to the 6 or so larger site early. Another cool thing about this area mini campers only stay one night. So even on a Friday or Saturday they will be people leaving that will open up opportunities for sites

How far is this campground from Jackson Hole?

I'm not local guide. Not sure how that got on there. About 20-30 min south of Jackson along the Hoback River. We used to camp here in our youth. Best campground ever. Especially for kids. The turnoff is 20-30 min, but then its a 10 mile dirt road in from there that takes a while (hour). Its all worth it!! Great campground. Great naturally heated pool.

When will the campground close this year, 2020?

$15 for campsite per night unless you have a golden age pass, then it's $7. There are no service hookups. Potable water and vault toilets are in the campground.
