Super great campground host clean sites! Tons of things to do nearby I'd recommend checking out the food at Alexander lake Lodge it was delicious. Two recommendations though, please get some self check in forms at the gate and empty the jiffy Johns... They're almost overflowing.

Very well cared for. The camp hosts were excellent. I was there 2 time, once at Little Bear and once at the upper camp. Had fun. NO COMPLSINTS. I can't get the stars to cooperate. I give it a 5 star rating.

Nice campgrounds, sitting at 10,000 in Grand Mesa Nat Forest. Valley was 102, mountain top 72. Had a little cell on top. Verizon 1-2 bars.

WAHOO! Relaxation at its best! Camping at over 10,000 feet beats the heat and the view from the upper portion of the campground is spectacular! Plenty of sites with a few having electrical hookups. Island Lake is a short walk away. This campground is in the middle of everything! Great hosts too!

There is a water fountain by the washroom
You can make reservations online. During the week the campground is not busy.
