Came here because it was recommended as I had 2 classic Cutco knives I needed sharpened, but I shouldn’t have bothered. Weird anti-social hand written signs posted all over the entrance and the interior and front display windows looked like a dusty used flea market. Wanted to support local, but couldn’t take them seriously. None of this would have bothered me if they had any actual customer service. They’ve locked the door to only allow one customer at a time (COVID protocol?) and then let you stand and wait without communication. Of course it’s sprinkling. Waited in the cold as the owner was the only one to address me and simply said it would be a couple of minutes as they were helping the one person allowed inside. Afterwards he just walked out leaving only one employee working. As I waited another woman walked up and tried asking questions and the employee half answered her questions through the locked gate to which she just gave up explaining what she needed and chose to wait. When he finally came to the door he ignored that I was there first as he had already seen me waiting but instead addressed then allowed the other woman to go first. He told me I had to wait even longer for a knife sharpening with no further details as to why. Beyond disappointed as I was planning on buying more kitchen knives based on what I heard about them. I told him never mind, that I was leaving and gave my business to someone else.

Please give as much of your business as possible to this awesome small business and terrific blade store! I contacted Dave about a knife sheath I was looking for, and he was absolutely amazing to deal with from beginning to end! He is a tough but very fair negotiator and he is not trying to take advantage of anyone. He has a great view of the world and of our wonderful country, Dave I can't thank you enough and wish you continued success sir!

Incomparable local staple for all things edged. I have bought everything from a hunting knife to a shaving razor to a meat cleaver over the years and everything was a fair price and great quality. Sharpening services for knives are fast and masterful. Stopped in today to ask about sword sharpening, and got a community referral in a heartbeat. The proprietor is knowledgable and gregarious. If you need a sharp object, or a dull object made sharp, this is where you need to go.

Over the years we've bought most of our knives here. Great recommendations. Instead of a department store set with things we'd never use, they've set us up with great knives that we use every day. Highly recommended

Sometimes. I heard they are getting a few within the next week.
Yes, yes, and yes.
Yes, I do buy knives on occasion. Depends on what they are and your asking price. Sometimes I will put them on consignment if it's something I think will sell. My consignment fee is 20% if and when the item sells.
They do appraisals, but their area of expertise is limited.
Yessir, all kinds of switchblades. Cheap Chinese ($40) to expensive. Microtech, Benchmade (tho' I hate the owner) Boker, Italian, etc. The inventory changes daily so I don't always have everything in stock. Thanks, Dave
