Stopped here on a whim while in Vancouver. This appears it used to be a Sushi train type restaurant but is now made to order. The Sushi was made mostly fresh and tasted good. Seating was limited. The food took a long time and they got our bill all sorts of wrong.

The Sushi is esthetically pleasing but they use so much rice in the rolls that it's hard to taste the other ingredients. Staff is mildly friendly but not very attentive. Wasabi and ginger are left on the table for you to serve yourself, leaving the ginger to get dry and look less than appetizing. Wasn't awful, they will definitely fill you up on all that rice. In case you are wondering, they're no longer offering happy hour rolls.

Really good food. Employees are always super friendly whenever I come in. Picked up some sushi the other day and opened the box to this cute arrangement. First sushi place that doesn’t just throw their food into the box.

This is the best "conveyor belt" sushi I've had in Vancouver. I've loved going here after an intense martial arts test, in the past, grabbing as much food as I could handle, which was a lot. GoGo Sushi has a pretty good entrée menu, from what I've tried. I like their udon soups as well as their beef bulgogi. I had their chicken katsu the other day, which was tasty but a bit too saucy for my liking, though I'm sure others would like it. They do have some great appetizers, such as the addictive calamari (which I would recommend with spicy mayo). I would also say that their unagi sushi is tasty and the size of the eel is satisfactory. Prices are pretty good, and they have a good happy hour deal. Finally, their service has always been on top of things, and very nice.

Cheaper and fresher and service is great
Table set up with clean/dirty pens for writing your order. Take to reception desk, where they have plexiglass barrier. Waiting in your car, they will deliver to you. Everyone is masked. After every check out, I noticed the clerk cleaned the reception area.
My wife and I went two nights ago. Dine in, no conveyor belt. You order off of the paper sheet the quantity of what you like. They will place the full order on tray. At first glance I thought...well there's food to go, but we finished our dinner and it was very good.
Every day 630 to 830pm
Dont know I was a walk in.
If you are referring to the sesame red bean balls it comes from the same ingredients but isn't taiyaki. Boba factory had it for a little bit but went against actually having it on there menu so no neither of these places have taiyaki unfortunately.
Its a god send Edit: i didnt realize this was gogo sushi, i thought it was sakanya the one thats down the street from fredmeyer. But the ramen here at gogo sushi is trash. Litteraly its just instant ramen with some kind of custom broth and green onions thrown in.
