They took extremely good care of my kitty while she was getting her health care needs done and at a great price!

We have called and emailed numerous times to make an appointment to see specific dogs. Never received a call back or a response of any kind. Yet they are on the local news stations saying they are at full capacity. Also, the hours of operation are 11am - 4 PM which makes it hard work people who work to get there while they're open. It just doesn't seem like they care about getting these dogs homes.

So my neighbor has 2 ginormous pits that get out and on this day they charged into my yard and went after my little dogs, thankfully I scooped them up and got into my house just in time. They came right up on the porch! I called Scraps since this was happening all week every day. They came super fast and had called the owner of the dogs and b*****d her out. Not super friendly but my dogs are safe so who cares.

Staff was very involved and aware. The dog I was there to see could not meet me and my golden but the staff recommended another dog in their care. 3 yr old pit that instantly attached to me and my dog and we adopted her and took her home on the spot!! Now she's home:)

I get mine for both dogs through Spokane County - SCRAPS online: https://www.spokanecounty.org/567/SCRAPS---Regional-Animal-Protection
I would call for the hours. I think on Saturday they open at 11. Drop off at their Resource Center. Map on their front door, it is in bldg around back of main bldg
You can have my dog
I think scraps does
They can
They also have pets for vets. We just got a puppy we seen him on the news. Hes adjusting very well.
Yes closing soon I googled it
As far as I am aware you need to call first to do that. Other wise u can only pet through the cages
Call with a description. If one looks close they will let you know if you need to come in
Under 14 must be with a gaurdian. 14 no supervision.
You can fill out a volunteer application on the Spokanimal website and then you attend a one hour (ish) orientation. Those are held twice a month, and can be found on the website as well
Not at this time :)
I'd probably give them a call and see
It depends if you are low income, did you adopt or find the cat, how old the cat is. There are various times of year where shelters/clinics have free days, but they are probably only once a year. I would start by calling Pet Savers of Spokane and asking them. Otherwise, many vets have funds for people who cannot afford services. Maybe you could try calling them as well.
Yes, Spokanimal does have rabbits/bunnies. All bunnies are kept in foster care because their facilities only support cats and dogs.
Yes Jennifer just informed you on this .
Yes they don't kill.
I don't work there but I can tell you they've got a thing where you can take they'll take cats to farms that's closed right now and the place where they put the cats in the kennels they have room but they've got a quarantine going on right now. But that's where I'm going to take the ones I have to trap.
in Washington 25 for dogs 50 if not neutered.
I took my cat to be neutered recently, they were kind and professional .Explained the procedure answered my questions. Called me when my cat was ready to come home.Brought him out to me explained recovery dos and don't's I highly recommend them. I've worked with them in the past had two pups neutered. Same kindness & courtesy.
They aren't accepting take in pets. Try Julia's Jungle. They didn't used to have any fees.
I would call first,I'm not sure if that side has opened back up.
When my friend had to surrender her dog all she had to do was fill out some paperwork. The staff was very nice and understanding.
Sorry, but I don't know. I would hope they are cleaned.
Spokanimal on Napa will help find it a good home. I have a friend who is a vet tech there and she loves cats alot.
They never answer the phone
Call them always looking for volunteers
Yes if they cant keep the dog they will send it to another dog shelter and not uthnaize the animal
SCRAPS and SpokAnimal and Humane Society all are separate shelters and adoption credits can not transfer from one to the other.
Try checking their website.. Calling is really no use, I had to just stop by to see for myself. I found and saved Pippa, a one year old sweetheart Shepard (and hound?) mix that came in a rescue delivery from San Antonio kill-shelters. There are all kinds of dogs from unfortunate situations available. Our girl had to go to the vet clinic next day for antibiotics, but it was a small price to pay to have her in our life. She is the happiest pup in the world now! FYI - our rescue dog came with full vaccinations, medical history, and microchipped.
Yes you have to make an appointment and it's pretty expensive
They can set traps. Then spayor nueter them. If not spokanimal then get ahold of scraps.
The number and type of breeds changes daily, and cost are posted
No, but SCRAPS can assist with low or no cost car or dog food.
Pretty good. But whatever you decide on, remember to do a meet and greet between the dogs. You don't want to get the new dog home, and your dog doesn't care for it.
All lost and found animals go through SCRAPS... Try checking with them, stop by to thoroughly investigate further to see if they have your animal.
They will take the dog in and try to adopt it out.
No I don't
Linda Wirtz Are you still looking for cats that need a home?
SpokAnimal is generally reserved for cats and dogs. You may want to check out a pet shop for hamsters. Good luck
Call scraps they are the animal control for the county
Call SCRAPS
Spokanimal is just a shelter. Try looking into boarding facilities.
No
Spokanimal has education classes for free that people can come to.
They only accept cats and dogs sadly
No
Scraps will pick up. Btw do you have a sister named candace?
Pretty sure they only take money
Yes , you can . The staff there is really friendly and eager to answer any questions you might have.
Nope
Call scraps
You'd have to check their website. I think they stopped taking those types of items except the towels.
Yes
Its a pretty mean thing to do to a poor cat 🐈
Why would a person with a disability get a discount?
The best thing to do is call the office and they can better assist you with their policies.
Did you get your dog from an animal clinic or a private party. If the dog was adopted from a clinic it should have it shots. Private party you will have to find a vet, or take the dog to the free clinic or if you are able to do it yourself you can get the shots from a store. I believe it has to be a place that would cater to horses and cow shots too. Like the store that has the horse in front of it. Its on the Newport Hwy. Just North of Holland. On the left.
Yes. They will advocate for a animal until it finds a home.
Do what?
Depends on weight
$75 for under 25lb
No just cats and dogs
