I found and saved Pippa, a one year old sweetheart Shepard (and hound?) mix that came in a rescue delivery from San Antonio kill-shelters. There are all kinds of dogs from unfortunate situations available. Our girl had to go to the vet clinic next day for antibiotics, but it was a small price to pay to have her in our life. She is the happiest pup in the world now! FYI - our rescue dog came with full vaccinations, medical history, and microchipped.
