After driving up and down the Oregon Coast for a week, we spotted Clausen Oysters on the map at some point and decided we had to hit it on our way back up the coast.. so glad we did.. it was the best meal we had the entire trip!

Absolutely the Best. If I lived closer I would come every day; tender, fresh, juicy, phenomenally delicious raw oysters! I've been craving them .. The chips and amazing. Lots of gluten free options. My husband got the oyster chowder and because we're gluten free he gave us fried oysters instead .. they were so delicious and tender ..

I had an excellent lunch here. Oyster Po Boy with chips and slaw. Everything handmade, it was so delicious. Definitely the best po boy I've had in a long time. The slaw, I am not sure, but I think it had fennel in it? It was unique and complemented the rest of the meal perfectly.

Delicious. Great fresh Oysters. We had a bit of everything. The Tuna Poki was my favorite. They Harvest the Oysters and Shuck them right there. They are lacking in ambiance with no frills inside but lots of seating and umbrellas out by the water.

There are 2 places that harvest oysters for sale in coos bay area, the one in North bend is better than the one in Charleston, but Winchester bay has the best since they are suspended rather than bottom dug, so no mud or sand or empty shells full of just mud or sand😜 unless there is an issue with water quality, all of these places harvest year round. Hot summer months, may thru Sept are the months to double check.
I believe the hours are Monday through Saturday from 9-5. but when there is a lot of rain, the bay goes into a rain closure and we cannot harvest. If we cannot harvest, we have no product to open the doors.
