The service was excellent spot on. Waitress moving quickly and efficiently among tables. As it was quite busy. My glass was never empty. Clam chowder excellent very much worth every cent. Oyster Stew nothing more than half and half with some oyster not worth it devoid of seasoning and flavor. Captains in battered platter - oily fish unseasoned flavor of boiled. Fries were pretty good , battered fish and chips fish were so pretty bland and flavorless. Again grait service from our waitress. One Final thing why would grilled not fried snapper be oily as well as severely over cooked??? Saving grace was the waitress . Fire the cook 6-2-22

Absolutely amazing food! I got the half and half, which was perfect because I’m super indecisive! I didn’t have to pick between the halibut or red snapper, I got both. Win! My wife got the chowder bread bowl, which she absolutely loved! Well done! It was super busy so we got our order to go, so unfortunately we didn’t get the full dine in experience. There’s always next time! Again, absolutely amazing!

This is the second time I've eaten at Captain's Choice. I liked it last year and made sure to stop there again this year. I had the grilled platter consisting of two kinds of fish, two oysters, two prawns, and two skewers of shrimp. I was glad not to have the sometimes heavy coating, when one orders fried seafood. The price was reasonable for what you received. The service was excellent, even though a throng of people arrived just after I sat down. Captain's Choice will definitely be a part of my annual coast trip.

While visiting Coos Bay for the first time, we decided to try this restaurant. Our food was sooooo yummy😋. Our waitress was very helpful and attentive. Give it a try.... you won't regret it😀
