My worker is Monica. I applied for a domestic violence grant which I thought would last me until the time came around when I needed it. Turns out it only last 3 to 4 months which I wasn't informed when I applied for this grant. My worker didnt even call me to warn me or mail me a paper. To tell me my grant was gonna go away in a month. If she cared for her client she would of made a phone call to make sure I knew what was going on especially if I needed it for being domestically abused !

I received a letter telling me to contact my case worker on about the 9th of September or I would lose my food stamps. I called every day for 2 and a half weeks and never got to talk to my case worker. Finally somebody took a verbal signature and told me that was good enough and that they would send me an application to sign and return to them but I would not be cut off of my food stamps. I signed and returned the application. But, in October I did not have any food stamps.
