It may have taken an hour and a half to get through but my issue was solved in minutes rather than months if I had sent in a written appeal which I learned from a helpful, home town agent. Be patient and keep calling. That's how they are set up to do service these days. Thank you North Bend SSA!

It is never easy to file for ssdi it can become painstakingly confusing and overwhelming but thanks to the staff and personal of our local office I was able to receive not only assistance but the staff went above and beyond to help me out with.shout out to the girls for all of your help

I filled out a form and sent in my information to change on my ss card and they sent it back without changing it. And because of Covid, I can’t go in to talk to anyone. I have been trying to get a hold of them for over three months to fix this problem but they won’t even answer when I call them.

The office guy at the front of the door is a dick meanwhile the rest of the staff is nice.

U need to call and make an appointment first.
It's a Scam. Don't call back or give any of your information. If you feel the need to check on it go to the local office
They play games
Yes you can make appointments
Not quite sure sorry
Me personally no . But s.s.a has programs
I was not treated very professionally and was made to feel like i was stupid and wrong for being at this office in the first place just asking questions.
If you need right a way need to go there, but if not they can mail it to you. That is the way it was but things have changed.
No it doesnt, just make sure you bring a certified copy of your birth certificate (just in case) and a certified copy of your marriage licence. Don't go to DMV first. If you already have wait until the plastic DL comes in the mail.
Maybe I should just go speak to some one in the office though. Makes me wonder why they even have a phone number if I can't reach an actual human being.
No, you call the 1-800 number or go into your local office. They make apointments for benifit applications. Those are 4 to 6 weeks out. Your office rarely has more than a 30 minute wait time. If you plan on a hour you will be pleasantly surprised.
The 1-800 number is open 7am to 7 pm M-F eastern standard time. So best is to start calling early AM. Easiest way reapply is on line at ssa.gov. it only took me 33 minutes.
I have only ever seen W4Vs at the SSA. IRS.gov, forms/pubs tab can tell yuou if you can print them. If they are not a printable form you can order them from that website or got to Staples/Office Depot and purchase them.
Yes it will effect you ssi payment
I don't think social security will stop you from getting or living in a motor home. I bought my R.V. and live in mine. You need to speak with them in person if possible
All offices open at 0900.
The only answer i have is to go into your local office, thats the only way i have found to get a answer for a specific question. Depending on the time of day you go, ive never had to wait long. They do close at noon on Wednesdays.
You need to report that to the office and police
No, but they do close to the public at noon on Wednesday.
No, you can go into your local social security office to get that.
for 2022 it is $18,960
