Amazing waterfalls!! Very picturesque!! Views from base and bridge are awesome. They both are unique but gorgeous. Must visit place in Oregon, particularly on Columbia River Gorge scenic highway. Its the tallest waterfall in Oregon, no wonder its so famous. Hike to bridge is an easy one, hardly 0.5 mile. There's another trail almost one mile long to top of the waterfall as well. All waterfalls on this coarse are connected. There are hidden waterfalls too on this trail. I believe there are 8 to 10 waterfalls on this big trail and all are connected. From bridge, not just the waterfall but the scenery opposite to waterfall and Columbia river are amazing too. Parking is very limited. Get there early or there would be minimum 30 minutes wait for parking on historical highway. Getting a parking spot is the most tiring part in visiting this place. It took same time to park as hike to bridge, enjoy the views, take snaps, spend some time and get back to car. Cars backup on both sides of the road and wait for parking spot. Parking on I-84 is better than historical highway. Atleast its good that this place is accessible from both highways. There's a restaurant in Multnomah Falls Lodge. There are restrooms as well in the same building.

Love this place so much. Been coming here since I was a kid. The waterfall is mesmerizing. The parking fills up fast especially in summer. The lodge is nice and that little coffee/pastry cart always has delicious smells. The trail is paved and gives multiple vantage points. If you choose to walk to the top of the falls it's pretty challenging for the casual hiker as it's just switchbacks the whole way up. But it's totally worth it cause the view at the top is stunning.

Beautiful hike, beautiful scenery. Went all the way to the top. Was a bit of a grueling journey, but amazing views of the Columbia the whole way up. Fyi, bring your own parking space! And careful of where you park, at least four cars were towed just today alone.

Are people allowed to get to the falls before sunrise? Will parking be accessible at that time?

Is the park closed? Can you hike to the falls?

It is no longer closed, but you cannot hike the trails at this time. The restaurant, gift shop, lowest view point are all open an accessible, but expect long waits and crowds. The bridge and trails are closed.

I hope I can be here and have a glimpse of the falls/frozen falls tomorrow ?

Not cold enough out for the falls to be frozen. You will be able to see falls, not sure if the lodge or anything else will be open. Might be some ice on the blacktop.
