This place has no parking for guest and the management is beyond disrespectful. My grandma lives there and she is 67 years old and she had a sewage line break under her house and she called and complained about the smell and they told her to either deal with it or move her apartment smelled so bad at times u couldn’t breathe it was like that for a year until the smell reached upstairs and the younger couple called and complained and they got right on it, but my grandma complained numerous times and they did nothing. Well after the young couple complained they found out that there was a break so they hired companies to fix it. The hatch that is in my grandmas room Is beyond rotten and she has complained about that and they still have t gotten around to it because there bus. They haven’t even apologized to her. Terrible place…

I wouldn't live here again. We just moved in and I'm already excited to get out of here. What they don't tell you is that you can hear every little thing in these apartments. I can hear every little noise and conversation that happens from my room, and I can clearly hear the upstairs neighbors. Good luck trying to get work done or fall asleep because you can hear creaks all night long. I am so shocked that the rent is so high as well. Yea they have a pool and gym but it's not worth the price tag and the poorly built apartments. The area really isn't the greatest, and they state in the lease that this is a smoke-free community but every time I go outside there never fails to be at least one person smoking in the parking lot. The only redeeming quality is the friendly and helpful management the place itself is not good.

I've lived at The Groves for about 9 months. After the new management took over recently, I have seen a big improvement with communication and maintenance. I have had no issues with the new management; everyone I've talked to has been very professional and helpful. The apartment unit itself is okay. Nothing fancy. The walls and cabinets were painted with cheap paint, so it is kind of sticky sometimes. And, I'm pretty sure the people who lived here before us smoked, because the walls have produced streaks of orangey/brownish colors since we moved in, and we do not smoke. Luckily, nothing smells like smoke though. No bug or mold issues either. The rooms are decent sizes, my boyfriend and I were able to fit a queen bed and 2 medium size desks in one bedroom. We have a surprisingly good amount of storage in our apartment. Coat closet, lots of kitchen cabinets and pantry, walk-in hallway closet (although I'm not sure if all the units have this), and bedroom closets. There are also garages and extra outside closets you can rent if you want. I have not had a chance to interact with very many other tenants, but it seems like a normal and respectful community. I feel like this area is pretty safe. I have had no issues with missing packages or damaged car or anything. The location is great, because it is right next to MHCC and there are several grocery stores that are less than 5 minutes away.

Lived here for 2 years and the people are generally very nice. Yeah you have the occasional loud noise or construction but that happens everywhere in order to up keep things. Since the new owners took over anything we've needed fixed has been dealt with in an efficient and timely manner. The staff are friendly and helpful. Within walking distance of a major bus route. Schools, hospitals and even parks and grocery stores are a short bus ride or short drive away also.
