You can tell that the employees really care about this restaurant and they care about their customers. Give them a try for lunch. A typical tip is 20% of your total bill before tax. Worst sushi place ever. Teriyaki chicken was dried out and not edible. Looks like it's been sitting out all day. Sushi was cheaply made with tons of rice and cut short on all other ingredients. Plus, who mix raw sushi rolls with cali rolls?

Gross food. Unfriendly staff. Slow service. The Sushi Place is not a good option in the downtown area comparatively to other restaurants in the area. My soup had an excessive orange layer of grease over the top of it. You are not going to get the same experience or quality of food here that you would be afforded elsewhere. Additionally, while there the wait staff showed little interest in helping our table. They were distracted by one another and when the server did get around to helping us he seemed agitated that he had to work. During normal downtown lunch hours, you can typically get in and out of a restaurant comfortably in about an hour. We received our food 20-30m after we arrived. My coworkers had to eat very quickly to return to work on time. I cannot recommend this place. I will visit one more time to give the restaurant a chance to redeem themselves.

Very good food!!! We had the sample sushi platter and we were very happy with it. It is very small so probably not a good place for large groups. The atmosphere was relaxed and out waiter was very helpful and friendly. It a great family environment!
