Yes but you have to put the half that you have inside an account they have to cover you which is called escrow. It's for the tenants showing that they have you on record paying what you can but of course the landlord won't take half. So go that way it's inside the rental courthouse on Fayette st. right before Gay st. that block across from city hall or war Memorial Building on Gay st.
