Extremely unprofessional ignorant individuals. They do NOT care about the deceased last Will and testament- save your children the headache from dealing with these unlawful employees, please ! Trust me - plan an estate without them having anything to with it. Take this as a WARNING!!!!!!!

This is just my personal opinion, but I would think that you would have to take the Letter of Administration with you. The person who was granted to be the Personal Representative should have that letter but it would have their name on it, so they might need to be the person who can legally collect information pertaining to the estate.
Go to https://registers.maryland.gov/main/search.html At the bottom of the page you have to agree to terms. On the next screen, you can enter your mom's first & last name & search for her estate. If it comes up, you touch on the estate number and you can see the docket entries of everything that has happened so far. If you want to see a particular document, you can order a copy offline @ $0.50 per page which will come to your email in a pdf. They come thru pretty quickly.
How to get letter of administration
That is a lie.
