Super friendly, helpful staff that go out of their way to make sure that everything you need during your visit is pleasant & your needs are met.. They offer it all , computers, fax, printers, copiers and every book, movie, audio book, kids books, music, magazines & so on that you could ever want.. This place is amazing & I totally recommend visiting & checking it out for yourself.

Keep your eye out for parking spaces on Park Street as that's the area without parking meters. Pine Street has closer spots but most of them are not free. The library's greatest resource is its staff. From the circulation desk to the children's department on the top floor, they provide lots of help and do their best to answer questions. If Lewiston Public Library doesn't have a title, readers can request books from other lending libraries online. It's a great option people can use.

Excellent staff. Very helpful and bright. Showed me exactly what I needed and referred me to the right people to help first time in every case. A jewel on Lisbon street and an important part of renewal of down town Lewiston. Good tech, Internet, collections, etc. Check it out. Lewiston should be proud of its library.

I know people go in &out with stroller fine. Entrance is sidewalk height but can't think if there's a lip on the doorway. I dont think so or would've tripped over it but now, lol. Elevator to all floors. Staff are super helpful.

Yes, on the 2nd floor. I believe you might need to have a library card to use them, but if you bring picture I'D and proof of address, such as a telephone or electricity bill, you can get one at the front desk on the 1st floor
