The bed itself was surprisingly clean. No offense... But you can tell the carpets hadn't been properly vacuumed in a very long time. I know whoever "cleans" the rooms doesn't do a thorough job, because I found a pair of glasses behind the refrigerator, and they were easily noticeable. I am a former housekeeper and I'm aware that the hotel itself is just outdated and I try to be understanding of that. But you should fire your housekeeping if they don't make an improvement on their current workmanship. But, considering the owner's remarks to reviewers... I don't hold out much hope. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here... If I'm ever in the position I was in again, I'll stay in my car next time.

The stay was great, very low price and a comfortable place to come rest after going and doing activities all day, the front desk people were very friendly and overall made the stay extremely good.

Positive: Adorable old motor inn situated on a hill is in good overall condition. This property brought back fond memories of my childhood. The owners were so pleasant and helpful and gave me a clean room near the back with plenty of nice grass to walk my dog. Negative: This area is sketchy and I was witness to a police foot pursuit which went through the property and toward the back of a more sketchy area. Seems like there is plenty of homeless traffic and transients nearby.

They are the worst. The owners are crooks. I was put into a nasty room. The lady at the front desk on booking told me the room was, inspected, and cleaned. I got back to the room later that night and laid down to see a bed bug that I squashed and was filled with blood. I grabbed my belongings and went right to the front desk where they said I brought the bed bugs with me. He said there’s no refunds. I paid 117.00 for a room I wasn’t in but for a hour. The other reviews are bots so don’t believe them, this place should be condemned. I told him it was bad business to have unclean rooms, he didn’t care. Don’t ever stay there, sleep in your car if you must.
