It was a nice harbor to stop in and say "Hi" to Andre. It would have been nice if there was a little museum or a place that you could find out his real story. He was an amazing animal with an amazing family. His story should be shared.

So I hadn't seen Andre since I was a teen but I seem to remember Andre being more active. I think I also remember him swimming and being in the water not just sleeping in the grass. Maybe he's just gotten old and boring. Poor Andre.

There is nothing better than bringing kids of all ages to see the statue of Andre the Seal π¦ Surrounded by grass and garden, and positioned on the edge of the harbor, itβs also a great spot to have story time and re-read the book, think about Andreβs life in Rockport and wonder what all the seals are up.

I watched the movie as a child I am happy that my family and I could show our love to Andre and his memory

There is plenty of parking, a little sketchy going down the hill as it's narrow and two way traffic. However, there are also some parking spots above the park at another smaller park called Cramer park! This park has stairs down to the Marine Park.
I saw a sign that said public boat access.
