Midtown Market has freshened up its look. The parking lot has been repaved with newly painted parking lines, it is looking very nice.

This is a GREAT country store, if you're in need of a knowledgeable butcher, go see Tim in the meat market at the back of the store. He will cut you the roast,or loin, or steak of your dreams, personal attention,to your needs. This is my go to butcher shop for my family affairs.

Prices not competitive. Stopped by after I worked all day to pick up milk and strawberries for my boys. Apparently it was 10 minutes to closing time. Rather than say something as I walked past the staff at the door or make an overhead announcement they simply turned off all the lights. I mean every single light. Not only did this slow me down A LOT because I could not see the items I was looking at but it is also a significant safety issue. I ran into something in the back. Yes they knew I was there...they were still checking other people out and asking each other if everyone of the customers were at the front yet. Where is common courtesy and respect? What if I had fallen? Or was frail? I will never return. They were clearly in a rush to stop doing business. I have lots of other options and expect much better from a small town. I love supporting small town business and go out of my way to shop with them. But not this one. They apparently are doing so well that they do not need my business. Also, the lettuce was wilted and looked not edible. The. Again...it was completely dark so who knows?
