Cross creek is in a decent area of town and is pretty safe overall so I’ll give them that but the leasing office is absolutely terrible. During the time of living here I had to deal with disruptive, insane and rude neighbors but this wasn’t the cherry on top I also had to put up with the unprofessional staff in the leasing office and their false accusations. Over the course of two months I had been given two violations notices for the same thing and then the neighbor two doors down also got the same notice for the same exact thing. Weeks go by after my second notice and I receive an email from the office stating that the violations that were given to my neighbor and I were dismissed as it was a “misunderstanding”…. No apology was made after leasing office made a big deal out of it and we’re demeaning and rude. To any future tenets , be careful

I have been resident of Cross Creek for 6 years, I would give them more stars if I could. Management, staff and maintenance team are great people, they are honest respectful, I will definitely recommended to more friends as in the last 6 years I was able to bring 4 friends here. A+

If you are looking for a place to rent in Wichita, please save your time & money as this is not the place that I would recommend to live. Reasons why: 1.) When I looked at the apartment, I stated I was interested & would like to fill out the application. They stated there was currently a waiting list & for me to hold my spot, a $350 check had to be made out to them. I let them know that I was really interested & asked to be put on the waiting list & handed them a check. The very next day I walked into the office to ask a couple questions & was told by the manager that my name was never put on the list. I know that may seem like a minor inconvenience, but there’s more. 2.) I didn’t thoroughly read the reviews for Cross Creek Apartments before I signed the lease. There were several reviews that stated that management had entered several apartments, taken things & claimed it as their own. One resident had their dog stolen & the manager was claiming it was theirs. Another resident stated that several personal belongings were taken from their apartment by management. 3.) I came home on a Friday night around 1:30 am to see that the back patio door to my apartment was unlocked and wide open. I am always checking my doors to make sure they’re locked. For this door to be unlocked and left open was pretty shocking. Nothing was missing except 2 boxes of fruit snacks that I had placed on the counter by the back door. The complexes response to this? There’s nothing they can do & in the lease, it states that my safety is not their priority & I should invest in cameras. I asked and installed chain locks on all doors just for a little added security. 4.) The Tuesday following incident #3, my car was broken into & ransacked heavily. Papers were torn apart & thrown everywhere, my glove compartment was dumped out, my sons car seat had been unlatched, & there was a sticky residue EVERYWHERE! After cleaning my car & talking to neighbors in the complex, I was told this is frequent thing. Many even stated their vehicles are broken into on a regular basis. I called dispatch and was told that if nothing was stolen and I wasn’t harmed, they wouldn’t send anyone out to my location as they were busy with other major things. The complex managers response? “I apologize this has happened to you and understand your frustration. Our office was also vandalized and cameras stolen. Please file a police report and hopefully the more we make they will patrol this area more frequently. We were told that unfortunately this has been happening everywhere and there isn't much that can be done.” Yeah, that’s really reassuring since all of my personal information is filed in said office! 5.) After all this happened to me, & other incidents on the complex property, I decided to buy a house. I turned in my lease termination letter and during my final walkthrough of my apartment, I asked if there was anyway that I didn’t have to pay $1638 to terminate my lease since all of the above instances happened, I am leaving the apartment in way better condition than it was received, I was buying a home, and they already have it leased out to someone else. The manager stated she would speak with the regional manager about it. I even stated I would meet halfway and pay 1 months rent. The regional manager stated “...due to the fact that you lived in the apartment for several months after the incidents that caused you to feel unsafe, we will not be waiving any of the termination charges.” I lived there for 4 months after said incidents. In that 4 months, I had to be approved by 2 different lenders, find a realtor, set my budget, find a live-able home, & close on said house. Apparently that’s unacceptable & too much time. I’m sorry, what? 6.) After speaking to several neighbors that have lived there for years, the only reason they stay, is because they have no where else to go. I’m talking elderly, disabled, or on a fixed income. These people were the nicest people I had ever met, but yet the stories they told me of management being rude toward them broke my heart.

The community at Cross Creek is one of peacefulness and relaxation. We took a 2-bedroom apartment unseen and were not disappointed at all. The staff at Cross Creek are so amazing and wonderful to talk with. Shana is so cool and an amazing person to work with. She is a phenomenal leasing consultant who will work with you in a professional, yet down to earth manner. Another leasing consultant, Kassie, was not with us during our application process, but is always pleasant when you come into the office. The Manager, Debbie is very professional and is there to work with you. The maintenance person, Joe…is one of the best in his profession. The office is like a setting in the south of a bed and breakfast inn. The unit itself is very spacious and you barely, if at all can hear your neighbors. Limited parking for those who are disabled, but access to those who use scooters and such. The community is very, very clean, and the coolest part here is if you are a dog lover. No weight limitations and the coolest thing is that Cross Creek has a full-size agility park for dogs!!! Now you can train your dog without leaving home!! A huge plus is that Cross Creek is very LGBT&Q friendly. The staff treats you with respect and is non-judgmental in every aspect. You feel comfortable as yourself, not as to have to be someone your not!!! Easy access to Rock Rd where many of the restaurants and services are with walking distance. Wallyweird is just across the street and Dillions Market is a few short blocks down from there. There are a few churches within the area as well as gas stations, a storage unit and easy access to 96. The two drawbacks here is there is no swimming pool or exercise room. But the tranquility of the community and residing in an upper middle-class neighborhood, makes up for that. They do have monthly events for residents. We highly recommend Cross Creek Apartment homes for your next home. We have zero complaints and we have been made to feel like family.

I'm not sure we pay 719.00 for a 2bedroom.
In the street? Do you mean the parking lot?
