We went into michaels looking primarily for items needed for making a macrame plant hanger for a med large plant. Suffice it to say, they had non 18mm size beads be they wooden or plastic..nor any 2omm size beads. They had no 2-3inch rings for hanging, no cord or yarn strong enough for a medium size plant. Basically nothing suitable for making a macrame plant hanger of any size. I went in excited to spend some money and was horribly disappointed. I even took a walk thru the yarn section and they didnt have any varigated yarn suutable for making something for a baby shower. All i can say is that it was a rather disappointing trip all around. I should mention that a service person said they had little in the way of macrame supplies if any. Should also mention that they carried several instruction booklets but no supplies.

Stopped by because I had received a gift card. There were a lot of empty shelves, overall appearance was messy. One person at checkout made for a long wait. Good selection of wool and pens, markers, and pencils. I miss A.C. Moore.

Michaels has just about everything one needs for arts and crafts, but we were in search of supplies to make a special cake 🎂! We found everything we needed, the store was not very full, and the people were very nice!
