Went yesterday to look for a cat. Jasmine helped me, and later my girlfriend and her son, showing us all the cats and kittens, and telling us about each one. We went back today to adopt the cat I'd chosen, and the process was easy and simple. Good people doing good things for animals.

While the staff that work with the animals are caring and wonderful, the lady that works in the front is not. She is frazzled, tired, and cannot function in the setting. She was rude and not up to her employers policy, not state mandates on pet adoptions. She kept saying "Oh I'm not going to ask questions". I took home a cat that had not had it's rabies vaccine, nor neutered/spayed. She had just finished putting her into the computer. Per the website there is a 24 hour hold on first adoptions.. this was not the case. The shelter barely had the cat for 24 hours before releasing her to me. I immediately made an appointment at Thrive go get her vaccine and at least they gave me a voucher to get her spayed... at PetLuv.. I had to put down a deposit.. hopefully I get it back. Am I annoyed that this scenario is now on my hands? Yes.

I had same and the Humane Society took. I am allergic to cats. I had the kitten given first shots and all necessary meds at Pet Love in Brooksville before taking it to Humane Society in north Hudson.

The only no kill shelter i know of is in largo its there animal control i hope this helps

SPCA has dogs that would probably love Precious. Just make sure to introduce them together slowly so they get used to each other! :) Hope you find another cute pup to take home!
