Morandi was unbelievable. I have never ever had better Italian food. Not even in Italy. It's was perfect is it usually is.

The food was great and the drinks were delightful. We had the cacio e pepe, meatballs and grilled chicken. Our waiter, Michael, was great and very attentive.

Booked a group reservation in advance and appreciated the great service. I ordered the Mafalde Alla Pugliese and enjoyed my meal! Perhaps I am adjusting to NYC prices, but the quality of the food (and portion size) did not seem to merit the price tag. Others at our table said their meals were decent but nothing to write home about. This is a reliable option in the West Village and the ambiance was lively and warm. However, I would seek out a better Italian food option.

Mediocre Italian pasta, this was our last stop in a ten days trip to nyc, considering the price, not the best one. On the plus side, a nice vibe if you are looking for a cozy spot.
