We adopted our kitten here. Been the best cat ever! Daughter loves to come back occasionally to spend time with the other kittens she couldn't take home.

Nice place and staff but some cats are nasty, even though they seem nice. Stay an hour and see the demeanor change.

Always had a great experience when visiting the Humane Society. I would go about once every couple of weeks to pet and play with the cats there. The staff was always friendly and so caring about the animals.

Call and ask them 👍
Hi Jordan! We have both staff and volunteers. Although we are not hiring for staff currently, when we do, it is usually posted through the Indeed website or when there is mutual interest we do hire a current volunteer. For volunteering you can apply via the Volunteer link on our website, www.humanerescue.org.
The humane society does have an open pantry outside the gates for people who need animal food. But they ask to please only take what you need.
They get them it just depends you can always call first see if they have any
You can call the I mean society and nature coast on mobley road. And say that you need to do a owner surrender. They will ask you a few questions. Sometimes they are full so it might take a few days to for them to get back to you.
Good afternoon. Yes, we are always looking for Volunteers! An application can be submitted via our website, www.humanerescue.org. Currently we accept volunteers as young as 12 years old.
Yes
i was in there this past week and the had a really pretty siamese one
Best thing would be to contact the ASPCA or Humane Society closest in your area for information. Have a great day! ✌🤘🖖🐾
Hi Nancy! I wish we could help but we are not experienced with wildlife. However, if you would please call our front desk, they have a list of those in our community who will likely be able to help you with the baby. Best of luck!
Hi Alicia! I assume you are referring to training classes for you and your dog? If so, unfortunately no , we do not have anything like this at the moment. However, it is a great suggestion and I will put that on our "Ideas Board" for the future. Thank you!
Hi Mary. I am so sorry to hear that your pupper is missing. If you live in Hernando County I would encourage you to contact Animal Services first. Their phone number is (352) 796-5062. All stray and found animals in the county are taken here first. If your dog is not there, they will assist you in reporting your dog as lost. I would also recommend posting to social media sites such as Facebook and the Nextdoor app. If you decide to post flyers, please feel free to bring one to the HSNC and we will post it in our front window. Best of luck in finding your furbaby!!

Hi we do not have a vet on staff yet, so we take our animals to Pet luv to be fixed. They are right down the street from us their phone number is 352-799-9990
Yeah I agree with Paris Regina you should give them a call and find out.
Currently between 150 and 250 depending on the size and age of the dog
Hi Teresa Fuller. We are currently closed to the public, due to a Covid scare. We will be open on Monday February 15, 2021. Please call us at 352-796-2711on Monday and we can go over what options we can provide for you.
There are dogs that are there for awhile cause they need to work with each one to get them suitable to be rescued. Rome wasn't built in a day. Wow 😧
We accept donations Monday to Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Sundays from 1 PM to 5 PM. When you arrive please come to the front desk and advise that you need assistance with your donation. We would be happy to have a staff member or volunteer help you.
You'll have go to the Humane Society of Nature Coast and see someone there...
Were you able to get a hold of them? You probably have to call
Rigth now they are very packed, because they are under construction but you should personally go and talk to them.
The humane society only takes in cats and dogs. But please reach out to hernando county animal services, or the SPCA in Brooksville...if they can't help, they will give you information on where you can take them. Good luck!
Not that im aware of but i have not been there in a while i would give them a call
Just a shelter. There is a clinic called PetLuv that is a lower cost on somethings.
I was told they had to have their rabies shots and they would take them in. They're allowed to roam in a big room so people can get to know them before adoption. They have volunteers that spend time with them. Seems to be a real good place if you have to give them up. They're supposed to be a no kill shelter.
Pet luv in Brooksville
Hi RJ, for owner surrenders the standard fee is $100 per animal or $150 per litter of kittens. This allows the animal to become up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, become sterilized, and microchipped. If there are concerns with fees, we may be able to help adjust them as necessary.
I volunteer there virtually every weekend and I can firsthandedly tell you that, that is not true. Us volunteers and the staff work very hard to make sure the animals are in great condition.
I would call them. I will say that they are great people doing great things for great animals.
u
