Food and service were EXCELLENT! Waitress was most attentive throughout the meal. Nice seat by a front window, but air conditioning did not work well in this spot. Price of the famous lobster roll was high, but it was delicious.

Dined here during dinner for the first time on a weekend visit to Mystic. We made a prior reservation and were seated immediately. Nice table for 2 by the window. Our server was fantastic (I forgot her name, but she has glasses. Sorry!) We ordered the peel and eat shrimp, the crab cake, and 2 grilled chicken Caesar salads. Food was delicious. I would have given 5 stars, but there were too many flies landing everywhere and it was really hot and sticky in the restaurant. It's uncomfortable to be sweating while you're trying to eat. By the time we had finished eating the restaurant was full. We would be willing to try again the next time we return to Mystic.

Probably the most underrated place in Mystic. Happy hour is incredible. I don’t even like peel and eat shrimp and I love them here. Great draft selection and decent wines at a reasonable price. Service is attentive and super friendly.

We dined at The Mariner for our anniversary while we were in Mystic. The food was delicious! We had New England and Manhattan clam chowder and both were chunky with ingredients, flavorful and had a major impact! My portion of spaghetti fra diavolo was huge and full of protein!! My wife’s was an amazing dish of seared sea scallops and corn risotto, which could have had more scallops and/or risotto. The portion size was unimpressive. The waitress was knowledgeable and recommended many dishes! The downfall of this restaurant are twofold; the noise level was deafening with a full restaurant and the a/c couldn’t keep up with the heat outside and the patrons inside. The restaurant was warm to say the least! Overall, we would dine there again!!!
