This was the first and casual visit to the restaurant with friends. Very good location. Good kitchen. Since we got to the restaurant by accident, we did not know whether to book a table or go right away. There was a queue ahead. We asked to find out, but the girl on the balcony rudely cut us off and said - Get in line! She was three times younger than me and answered very rudely. In the photo, this girl, she does not know how to behave with customers. Train your staff.

Kevin and Mike were both outstanding waiters during our time at S&P. They were attentive to our questions and knowledgeable enough to answer with confidence. Trust their suggestions! They were more than willing to work with the kitchen staff to allow us to order lunch menu items during the dinner time hour. My wife and I both agreed that it was the best service that we have experienced in dining for a long while. We enjoyed the lobster fritters which were their special for an appetizer. Wow, they were so delicious. I ordered the seafood rigate and she ordered the shrimp scampi risotto. Both were well worth the price: full of seafood and more than enough flavor. The atmosphere was great and you couldn’t get any closer to the water. Fantastic view in a laid back environment. It was clear the restaurant was fully staffed and it shows through the employees. They were happy to be working and did not appear to be rushing around. It created a perfect dining environment. If we’re ever back in CT, we will absolutely be eating here again.

I,while on vacation choose to visit a restaurant that is a bit more expensive than my usual. It is a treat as I work hard as a NICU nurse. I chose S&P. You didn't let me down. Started with raw oysters, then seafood paella followed by bread pudding to go. I was in food heaven. Kyle my wait staffer was wonderful and attentive as was the woman, sorry bad at names, who tended me also. Will highly recommend your establishment! Will come again for sure. Thank you for a wonderful late lunch!

excellent dining experience, both indoor and outdoor. very nice view of the water from wherever you sit. nice variety of drinks and the menu is a creative combo of foods, loved the oysters! ordered the local mystic oysters, super fresh! we also had the calamari for our table which was delicious! the clam chowder was fantastic, and i think we will definitely be stopping by again next time we’re in town!
