Red 36 has great ambience, atmosphere, and incredible service. Food was good, I had the fish and chips and it was a little runny as the batter didn't fully cook. It was our first time here, so maybe it was just a fluke and it normally is much better. We will need to come back and try it again. Aside from the food, Red 36 is a great place for a drink and to hang out. If you're in Mystic this is a great place to try. Update: (07/17/2022) We came back for lunch today and it was such a great experience. Food was excellent this time around. My wife got the halibut sandwich and I tried the black bean burger, there were ZERO leftovers. We sat at a table on the outskirts of the main bar, nice view, comfortable ocean breeze, again Red 36 can't be beat when it comes to atmosphere. We will absolutely be coming back, going to be hard to try other places in Mystic.

One of the best in Mystic! We went here during a road trip and the food was great! I enjoyed the atmosphere of the place and its design. The roof was spacious and the sliding doors were open allowing a breeze. We didn't have to wait for a long time to be seated too. Waiters here are very nice and kind! The service is very fast for the amount of people that are usually here. The beef bulgogi is a must try! The sauce was amazing and the beef was cooked perfectly. We also tried the salmon which was solid. It was cooked nice and the sauce and purple potatoes were good too. The martini was fruity and really tangy. I forgot the name of it though. We tipped 18% and rounded it up to the next 36 cents (Red 36!). If you happen to stop by here definitely give it a try. 😋

This place has the coolest ambiance for a young adult crowd in Mystic CT If you are spending a weekend or just one holiday, make sure to end your day with dinner and/or drinks here. Good food. Good music and great service.

Super cute nautical-themed restaurant serving delicious, American/New England fare. Service was friendly and attentive and prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend their lobster bisque and fish-n-chips, though be advised that it comes in a bowl. Get the jalepeño tartar sauce!! 😋
