An amazing food experience! Via Emilia is hands down one of the best Italian restaurants that I have ever visited. Being from the New York area and having dined in some outstanding restaurants in Venice, Rome and Sorrento, I was not expecting to experience this outstanding meal and service in Mystic, CT. Our party of 7 had a variety of their homemade pastas and desserts and have been raving about the food for the past few days. We’re going back for the Sunday lasagna tomorrow. As great as the food was, our waiter, Dee, made the experience that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend visiting Via Emilia- you will not be disappointed.

I found this place on the web. I’m a huge review person. I’d like to hear other peoples experiences prior to me enjoying it for myself and my family. As you can tell it has great reviews. These were not staged. The service is amazing but the only thing that surpasses that is the Incredible food. But finally the best part of the experience was our server Emily. The epitome of class!!!

Excellent place for Italian food. We stopped in here on our first night in Mystic and it was excellent. Our waiter, Chris, was extremely helpful. Everyone in the restaurant was pleasant and friendly. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for somewhere to eat in Mystic.

Six stars! I've been waiting to write a review where I felt five stars just wasn't enough. This is it. Following the advice of a thorough, and stellar review in the local newspaper, we came for my wife's birthday dinner. We were blown away in every single category of a dining experience. To start, we had the Zuppa DI Cozze and Insalata. Our Dinner included a special item, the Pappardelle with wild mushroom and provolone cream sauce and the Cappelletti. The combination of items provided us the best food pairings we have ever experienced. This goes for the drinks as well. A very well put together menu and each item we had was without question the best Italian we have ever had. The same concept of interesting flavor combinations also carries over to the dessert menu. Regardless of what you order, you will be blown away. With a friendly and attentive staff, you really feel appreciated for being a guest here. You will not feel rushed so when you sit down look forward to the experience you are about to have. I promise it will be stellar! Like I said, if I could give six stars, this would be it.
