On the reservation, we requested a window view in the dining area. When we arrived, the hostess told us they was no seating available in the dining room and sat us in the middle of the bar area. She handed us our menu's and left. No one approached us if we wanted drinks. Not even water. When we finally got a waitress, we told her our dilemma and she tried her best to get us moved to the dining area but no avail. Meanwhile we were looking for another place to eat. We decided to stay. Bad decision. Both our meals were subpar, to be nice. My lobster was overcooked and both our meals were blah to taste. The lobster bisque, though, was excellent. They compensated us our first 2 drinks, a soda and a sangria. All this on our anniversary, which was mentioned by the guitarist who played very loud during dinner rush! The only bright spot was our waitress, Victoria! She was very attentive and apologetic for our experience on our anniversary. She deserves more pay.

Nice location. Pretty views. Wait staff was pleasant and competent . Food was well presented and prepared . Unfortunately, the Live Music was way too loud and inappropriate for the setting. We felt very sorry for the folks having to work and communicate over the cacophony! Good thing we were in the back room , otherwise we would not have stayed for dinner. Management needs to decide whether they are a Club or a Fine Dining establishment.

The deck is beautiful, but the food was terrible and overpriced. I ordered the crabcakes, which were about 98% bread filling and barely had any crab to be found. I ate about half of one and felt ill afterward. It’s a shame that this place is associated with the Inn.
