Do not trust this place with your loved ones and family members, it will be the worst mistake that you ever make. Financially you will be robbed blind with promises of this or that only to later find out that the basic needs such as eating and clean clothes are being given. How would you feel if your loved one hardly had any clean belongings to be dressed?Let me not get started on the care they are not receiving, some days I go into my loved ones room(after lunch mind you)to find them looking a complete mess and wearing the same clothes that they were wearing the morning before. It is a shame. The head of each department will lie in your face about the schedule and services your love one is receiving, just to get you out of their faces or to paint a picture of more false promises. From the food that goes into their stomachs to the medical needs that are ignored because they are “short staffed”, this place is unprofessional and needs to make some serious changes if they expect to continue running amongst the community.

Masonicare at Mystic has been a Godsend for my parents and our family. The facilities are beautiful and all the people working there, from the front desk to dining facility to security and transportation staff, really care for the residents. It is much more than a job for them. My father is now needing to be transferred to memory care and the staff is extremely helpful in helping us make this decision. I don't know what we would have done without them.

As you enter Masonicare at Mystic you can sence the care and commitment that the staff have towards their community and those entrusted in their care. The staff are very friendly and the residents that I have met have said that they are better for making the move to Masonicare.

False advertising These people lie. They use the buzz work MEMORY CARE but actually mean assisted living. They are not equipped for actual Memory Care. Memory care is a distinct form of long-term skilled nursing that specifically caters to patients with Alzheimer's disease, dementia and other types of memory problems.
