The staff was great. Very helpful. Explained things well. Helped to avoid and correct mistakes. The environment was also fun! Third time and I'm already looking forward to doing it agian

We had my daughters bachelorette there yesterday. Firstly, I have to acknowledge that some of our party was a little late. That said we were willing to catch up quickly as others in our group prepared our items. Overall we had a good time and happy with our projects but the person running the class, not sure of her name, had such an attitude. Her directions were clear but lengthy, and she had to be “right” vs encouragingly coaching. (this was with our group and not sure how she was with other groups) I do have to mention the other assistants were fantastic! The leader had an issue with our group from the onset and unfortunately this affected the brides experience- I have to mention they never acknowledged the bride or congratulated her in any way! As a business owner for more than 20 years, regardless of coming in a little late, this is not how I would welcome my customers. Lastly, the group we signed up for (reservation made weeks in advance) was for 7, when registering for the class I spoke to a person that said we would have our own group but it would be with a classroom size of 16. There were much more than 16 in the class. I believe this added to the “stress” of not delivering the assistance needed for some individuals and unfortunately in my opinion it was our group that the leader determined was not going to receive the assistance needed or expected. That said, we got through the class and we’re generally happy with our projects but we were unimpressed. If you decide to have a small bachelorette group attend, my suggestion is to be sure they guarantee a reasonable class size so the proper time can be spent on all attending.

What a fun experience! My wife and I went to a workshop recently and we were beyond impressed by the quality of the wood and the hosts of our board & brush class. The instructions were very easy to follow and the hosts helped us bring our visions to life. This wasn't our first time going and we'll be sure to come back again soon for more unique items to make our home our own. Absolutely recommend to everyone for hours of fun and to have a custom piece of your own.

Drills, hammers, mallets, nails, sand paper, paint and oil based stains are used during a workshop, so precautions need to be taken. If you have a condition that will increase your likeliness of experiencing injuries or breathing issues, please ask us ahead of time if this is right for you. We also recommend you wear clothing that is not special to you. Stain, paint, saw dust and wax are always being passed around in a workshop environment, so choose wisely in your clothing selection!!
Most Board and Brush Creative Studios use environmentally friendly low VOC stains. Our designer paints are odor free water based products. We believe in providing industry proven materials that impact the earth as little as possible.
