My friend's cats are named Linus and Lucy. That should set the tone for this review. My 50 y/o friend was beyond excited to spend the day at the Shultz Museum, absorbing all the information on display. The exhibit we viewed less interactive because of COVID (heavy on the text- so could have been less fun for little kids ) but they change the exhibit often. the kids' playroom is spectacular, with inclusive activities for sensory-sensitive kids. The gift shop usually has one-of-a-kind items that are not available elsewhere.

My family visited today and absolutely loved it! Our youngest is 15 and we enjoyed the whole thing. The displays were very fun and also very educational. Absolutely loved the way the comic strips were incorporated into everything, including the bathroom walls!! And there is nothing more fun then putting four adults in a room and seeing who is capable of folding a red dog house and drawing the classic Peanuts characters!! What a great place for people of all ages!

Did a side trip to this place from Rohnert Park on a girls trip since a couple of them are big Peanuts fans. Very cute museum to see which includes a little video discussing Charles Schulz. There are lots of original comic strips he drew and a creative room upstairs where you can color, draw, or do origami. The kite-eating tree is on the patio and lots of figurines of Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, and of course Snoopy.

I liked this place. If u really like reading history about Charles you can spend long time here. They also play cartoon shows throughout the day. Activity room was fun with kids. There is a ice rink just across this place.

Standing and reopened.
I don't believe they know how they started yet. They started up north and then just seem to be coming from everywhere and merging. It's really awful.
Phone the museum in Santa Rosa they could probably tell you. May even have it in their gift shop
W. Steele Ln is your best bet for sufficient parking for a RV/camper or large vehicles. Wide street here
They have senior, military, and student discounts.
I agree with Warren's post. We were just there 2 weeks ago. Each gift shop has different items so be sure to check out both.
He was the creator of the Peanuts characters cartoon, Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Sally, Snoopy and others. You might have seen the Christmas video special.

They don't research anything themselves. They have a facility for people to use that are doing research, writing books and such. Plus they can use all the Museum's resources... Kind of like a library.
If you want to read every cartoon and explore everything I would set aside 3 hours or so. You can take in a good amount without reading every comic in an hour and a half. Keep in mind, when I went, there was an entire building outside that was under construction and off limits. So you might need more time to explore that if it is open. But then again, that space might just be a conference hall or space to rent for an event
you can find the prices here https://schulzmuseum.org/visit/hours-and-admission/
Yes! Will be open daily until Labor day.
You should call the museum! They are very informative.
Actually there are 2 EV charging stations right by the museum entrance; they are ‘Charge Point’ stations & were empty; I tried to use but was unsuccessful after being put on hold for 15 mins by their ‘help’ phone line; museum staff also not familiar with the set up.🙁
I don't know much about them, but I would certainly ask the museum staff about them. There is an entire room upstairs called the 'Research Room' dedicated to researching Charles Schultz and all things Peanuts related. I don't know for certain if they can help, but it would be a good starting point to finding out more.
I think varies upon the season. Check their website. Totally worth it if you are a fan
Do you want to know when or where thanksgiving dinner is?
Yes the facility is ok, the staff is experienced and adequately trained to answer and have found that contacting them directly is the best source for current information on facility.
I live a block away and we are safe including the museum. ❤
I am so upset the event was already full by the time I was able to navigate the site. First I was told it was down then there was a message saying it was full😒
