I scheduled a passport appointment over a month ago at this location. On the day of the appointment, I arrived early with all of materials and made sure I had enough time to get a money order, as the appointment reminder informed me the evening before. After I finished getting the money ordered processed, I walked over to the passport area where I had sat down for a couple of minutes because my scheduled time was 20 minutes out. I looked up and noticed a sign that read that no one is available to process passports and if I had an appointment for today it had been cancelled. While I can understand that people get sick and need time off, I was extremely frustrated that I took time off from work, drove 30 minutes there, only to find out that I would need to make a new appointment and there was no attempt to contact me to avoid wasting my time and gas. There is no option for rescheduling if the post office itself cancels your long standing appointment. I also now have a money order for the post master that I can't do anything with. Now I have to hope that somewhere else will be able to take care of this in time.

So frustrating! I feel like I was purposely mislead, by the post office, no less. It's ok if you are under-staffed. But don't waste people's time! We waited weeks for an appointment. We arrived at the office to find a message at the counter stating “There is no passport clerk available to perform any service, if you had an appointment, you will need to go online and reschedule, and PLEASE DONT MAKE OR RESCHEDULE AT THIS PLACE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!’’ We were not alone in our surprise; there was a family that arrived minutes before us with the same look of bafflement. Is the U.S. Post Office so archaic that they can’t even advise you via email about a change of status for further appointments?

After making an appointment to have passports done, I received a confirmation and reminder emails. I got to the appointment 10 minutes early as requested only to find a sign, "No clerk available for passports. Go online and reschedule." What's most upsetting is that I wasted a month waiting for the appointment and will waste a second month waiting for my rescheduled appointment. Warning to others, schedule your passport appointments elsewhere for the time being.

Beware before you make a passport appointment here. I wish there's 0 star rating. Showed up 20mins earlier than scheduled for my passport appt and been told the clerk /admin decided to not to come in and I can try a walk in somewhere else. I spent 45mins driving up there and the staff were not even apologetic about the situation. I asked for a number or a form to write up a complaint and there's none. They showed no accountability, and mentioned they had to send away 15 people. I tried reaching out usps customer service enquiry number but no luck. On top of it all, they suggested me to try coming back on Saturday first thing in the morning to see if the admin is IN to help me out in case if she has free time to entertain walkins. I'm appaled and this is unacceptable.
