I love st pauls epsicopalian cahedral church in. San diego calif. I commend them for serving and reaching out. To the. Homeless. St pauls cathedrals church is all inclusive and non diacriminting. I am very pleased and delighted. To know. That st pauls episcopalian cathedral welcomes all. LGBTQ children of God. I love the agape love that the clergy aways shines through the light of Christ sparkling love to everyone unconditionally. Excelent liturgy and music which. I feel very sacred and spiritual. I have been visiting st pauls episciopalian cathedral for many years since. The 1990s. I feel the invoking of light and love and sacredness prescence of Gods prescence

Welcoming to all and notably to LGBTQIA. New Note: I feel I must disclose that in one sense this is a very old world cathedral--namely, it is UNHEATED. The entire campus was built to be heated by a single boiler but the cost became prohibitive some years ago. All services during cold months are, well, cold. This morning (Feb 17) I am wearing two pairs of socks (one thermal), long underwear, a turtleneck, and a bulky sweater. Fortunately there's also a lot of body heat radiating all around. And the music can warm you soul, so that's sort of an inside-out kind of thing. ;-)

Beautiful space, amazing acoustic. One of the best organs, if not the best organ, in San Diego. Really great music program headed by Martin Green. Real friendly people, the only big gripe is the parking situation: expect to fight for street parking during peak hours.

Check our website each year for the early service, because we occasionally move the time by 30 minutes but our usual times are 8:00 and 10:30 am with Spanish services at 1:00.
Hi Peter! Thank you for your question! Our next Spanish speaking service will be Palm Sunday, April 10 at 1 pm, called La Liturgia del Día y la Santa Eucaristía. After that we will have two bilingual services: April 14 at 7pm and April 15 at 7pm. You can view our Lent and Holy Week schedule here: https://stpaulcathedral.org/lent/ I hope this helps! Feel free to reach out with any additional questions! Wayne Communications Coordinator
It is generally the first Sunday in October. That is when we celebrate the feast of St. Francis, who had a special appreciation for animals and nature.
Sunday services are at 8;00, 10:30, and 5:00. 1:00 en espanol.
When there is a well-attended event, it can get tight, but street parking can be found withing 2 or 3 blocks.
Good Morning. We services in Spanish are on Sundays at 1:00 pm.
We have eucharist (misa) in Spanish each Sunday at 1:00pm in the Cathedral. There are several other Spanish language services around town. Thank you!
No. We are Episcopalian, similar to the Catholic Church.
Music begins at 5:45pm, the service at 6pm. However it's very well attended (which makes it all the more fun) so plan to arrive early. Our family olans to arrive by 5:15. Masks, hats, costumes, etc are all encouraged.
