A group of us were hiking the Mason-Dixon trail and ran out of water. The closest place for us to go was this winery. A couple of us went inside, and the owner and staff went out of their way to take care of us and fill the water bottles for the entire crew, and offered to give us a ride back to the trail to the rest of our team. They also provided us chips to ensure everyone was ok on a 97-degree day. The wine tasting room is absolutely beautiful and I will be going back with my wife and our friends to try some of their wine. The flavors looked absolutely delicious reds, whites and fruity wines. I would highly recommend this Winery as the staff and owners go above and beyond to help passersby in need. Quality people and quality products.

Very relaxing with pretty views, and the wine was decent. However, the woman who helped us wasn’t the friendliest. Didn’t say much, didn’t explain anything about the wines, not very personable or welcoming. She also overcharged me. I purchased: one combination flight ($9), a glass of wine ($8), one $23 bottle of wine and one $18 bottle of wine. Somehow, I was charged $73. Not really sure how that adds up even with alcohol tax. So there’s that. I likely won’t be returning; there are way better wineries in the area in my opinion.

Loved the customer service and the wines were some of the best of the day! I ended up with the Strawberry Jam wine and the Pumpkin chardonnay. Super tasty and worth the drive. The owner, Mary, was so personable and warm. Loved how she shared info about her home and all the wineries that were apart of the Gunpowder Wine trail. Will definitely be neck in the fall for the cheese event.
