My husband and I have been going here for years. It's always so calming and beautiful. The boardwalk is an amazing feature, and the promenade grill has great food and awesome milkshakes!!! Always very well maintained and clean.

Beautiful location right where the Susquehanna empties into the Chesapeake. The grounds are pretty well kept and the scenery is beautiful. Lots of geese and ducks line the rocky shore. We got an great view of a Great Blue Heron among the other waterfowl

Grew up fishing here. Take my kids now also. Its a designated free fishing area between the signs. What kind of fishing do you look for? Plenty of Carp. Catfish,perch. Bass can be caught as well.
Nice and flat. Plenty of places to sit down/benches. Plenty of places to tuck under trees and get some shade.
Definitely for ages 2 to 102. There is a gazebo and a wheelchair accessible swing. This park is for everyone.
